   Watch Promo

Congratulations! You’re Engaged! We’re so excited for you! But better yet, we’re here to help. Have the questions started flying at you yet? Or are you still on cloud 9? Either way, we’ll walk you through it! We’ve written an online class, The I’m Engaged Ecourse, that will get you started and keep you going in the right track.

Engagement is AWESOME… and overwhelming

It can also be overwhelming once it sinks in. Now you need to plan a wedding. Where on Earth do you start anyway? We’ve narrowed that down for you and built an easy structure to follow.

The I’m Engaged ECourse

We’re walking you through the first Week of being Engaged, day by day. When you sign up for the ECourse {FREE!} you’ll get 8 Lectures to watch over the next 7 Days.

What is it?

In your first Welcome Lecture, you’ll receive your Wall Charts. These Charts go up in your house so that you can see them {think refrigerator, bathroom mirror, etc} which help you stay on track. The easiest thing to do when planning a wedding is fall behind! Visual reminders are a key to success. Each Lecture gves you Assignments and a How To Guide for finishing them. We link you through to helpful blog posts and resources too. When you’ve completed the Day’s work, you chuck {recycle please} the Chart and move on. As you continue planning, you’ll notice how gratifying it is to Chuck a Chart and be done with a Wedding Planning task!

Day 1: Checklist & Vendors

Day 1 is about getting started on the right track and covering the most important pieces first. You’ll get a Checklist that starts at 9 Months prior to your Wedding and ends with the Day before your wedding. It is comprehensive and full of useful links. We’ll talk about Hiring your Vendors and how to assemble your Dream Team.

We’ll talk about Hiring your Wedding Vendors and how to assemble your Dream Team. When you first begin, Vendors are really the most important to do, as the best book up years in advance. We cover The Big 5 and how to hire them, including interview questions:

The Venue, Photographer, Caterer, DJ & Florist.

Day 2: Who is Involved

After the initial excitement sinks in, the questions start coming, Am I a Bridesmaid? On Day 2 we dive into Who is Involved in your Wedding Day. There is a worksheet you can keep in your binder that lists all the important people. You’ll gather phone numbers and have an easy head count right there for the Florist. We take you through 2 Family Talks to have about your Wedding Planning and more…

Day 3: Setting up Shop

Before you know if you’ll begin buying wedding stuff, and it will start taking over your house. You’ll have a dress, candles and a large pile deemed “For the Wedding” sitting in a corner. On Day 3 we teach you how to set up what we call Headquarters, at home so your Wedding stuff stays organized and sorted right up until it is transferred to the venue.

Day 5: Getting Pretty & Shopping

Did we mention Wedding stuff? And buying a Wedding Dress? Oh yes, we did! Day 5 might be the most exciting of all! Day 5 is all about your Wedding Dress, Hair & Makeup! We’ll cover how to shop and all the right questions to ask.

We also talk about spending money saving money on your Wedding Planning and how to even make money back! It all begins at the very beginning of your planning and carries through to the end. We’ll let you in on the secret of Facebook Groups, The Reusable Wedding Programs, and even talk about getting money back after your wedding.

Day 6 and Day 7 only get better…

Hi Team!

I have been planning Weddings & Events in Oregon for 10 years now. {Woo!} Once upon a time I had a huge Wedding Planning building where we met with brides regularly and managed a rental company. We did 36-40 weddings a year. My first son was born in July, the middle of Wedding season, and went back to work with me for 60 hours a week at 2 weeks old. That's when I knew I needed a change!

I started writing the Project Block System while planning my own wedding in 2012 but really took it to the next level in 2014 when I closed up the office and transitioned into WAHM status. I began to blog and write posts about each Project Block. I was still coordinating about 10-12 weddings a season.

Then with the birth of my second son I put myself into "long-term" maternity leave and dove in head first into this thing called ECourse & EBook writing. I think the rest is history ;)
